John Frederick Lott I Double Bass

We are proud to offer this beautiful double bass by the famous John Frederick Lott I, known as the “King of the English double bass makers”. His instruments are beautiful to look at and much sort after by todays players. This fine early example from the 1820’s features the classic Amatese soundholes that he favoured during this period of making. The slightly smaller pattern makes the double bass very approachable for the player and the sound is excellent as you would expect.
