    Franz Sandner Double Bass Bow

    This well made German pattern double bass bow dates from around 1940. It is stamped Franz Sandner who was a maker of stringed instruments and bows from Schönbach. It is well balanced and easy to play. The bow weighs 131 grams and measures 69.1cm excluding the button and 75.1cm including the button.
