Ouchard Workshop Double Bass Bow
This handsome double bass bow is from the Bernard Ouchard workshop and was made around 1960 in Mirecourt. This well respected maker was appointed as a head of bow making at the Mirecourt School of Lutherie and taught many of the best bow makers of today. This example has a strong pernambuco stick, is silver mounted and has a Parisian eye. It weighs 137 grams and measures 70.1cm including the three piece button.
